Welcome to my photo blog! Thank you for stopping by! I am Susan McEntyre, owner of Susan James Photography. I have been photographing babies, children, and families consistently for the past 3 years. I am a natural light, on-location photographer in the West Michigan area.

I am a custom lifestyle photographer. “Real life” is what I strive to capture. As a custom photographer, the final images will be unique and individualized for each session. I love to seek out new locations and come up with new ideas for every family. Photography has provided me with a much-needed creative outlet in my life. It is my passion!

My blog is the place where I update my children’s lives and the life of our family. It is also the place where I share bits and pieces from my photography journey. It has only just begun!
